my friend and a fridge atc!

Hi there blogging buds!

I wanted to share a 6x6 scrapbook
page I made for my sweet friend
Maria, she has the book now, so it's OK to share. Several of her friends made pages for the book. She's had a rough time of it lately. She has MS and has had a set back. She's working really hard with her therapist now, no doubt she'll be stamping up a storm in no time!!

The picture of us was taken a couple of years ago at our stamping retreat in Minnesota.

Here's an ATC I did for another swap I'm in with some of my friends. The theme was a holiday, any holiday you wanted to do from Jan., Feb., or March. I decided to do New Year's. I got these cute little calendars at SkyBluePink at the beginning of the year. I think they're sold out now though. I knew I wanted to make little fridge ATC calendars with them as soon as I saw them!
Supplies: Stamps - Crafty Secrets - Cherubs (flourish) Tim Holtz ATC Number. Paper - GP white, Basic Grey for the scalloped backing on the calendar. Ink - Ranger Distress Walnut Stain, Worn Lipstick, Tattered Rose. Acces. - old dictionary paper, SU! felt flowers, ribbon, Tim Holtz Game Spinners and brads, blank playing cards- I adhered the stamped background to these cards to give the atc stability, pink foil trim from the Speckled Egg, red staple, old magnetic business cards cut in half and glued to the back of the atc, any kind of magnet will do. Tools - SU! scalloped circle punch, Nestie scalloped rectangle.

I hope you have a fantastic day, thanks for stopping by!

crafty chandelier tag!

Oh boy, do I evah love these hu-mungo tags from ePaperie! They are HUGE, lots of room to do just about anything! You need to check them out!

I couldn't get this chandelier stamp from Crafty Secrets fast enough after I saw it, I've been wanting one! I love it, see the little strings of beads, I colored those with my Gelly Roll Stardust pen, I need a couple of new ones, the glitter is so intense in these pens!
I used my Glimmer Screens from Tattered Angels, the butterfly one. I laid it down and sponged Ranger Distress ink on the tag with my Tim Holtz blender tool.

Look at the cool trim I got at Hobby Lobby. It has buttons hanging off rick rack. I got a yard of this, it's perfect for a button lover Smiley from millan.net The paper flower at the top is punched out of Crafty Secrets paper pad scraps I sprayed with Glimmer Mist

a Crafty Spring challenge

Miss Vic has challenged the Crafty Secrets DT again! This time the theme is Spring, Easter etc. I went straight to the new Easter Joy set. Isn't it perfect for Easter and Spring? I used my Creative Memories cutters to make the egg shaped cards. I made faux rick rack on the little boy bunny card with my pinking shears and card stock. I stamped the sentiment and cut out the 3 words, joys of Spring and glued them on the card. His little tail is a pom-pom, I dabbed it with glue and dipped it in glitter to give it some sparkle.

Supplies: Stamps - Easter Joy. Paper - Classic Paper Pad, GP white, scrap card stock. Ink - Ranger Distress Black Soot & Vintage Photo, Copics. Acces. - pom-pom, glitter, linen thread, buttons, Martha Stewart Gem Stickers from Wal-Mart, velvet rick rack. Tools - Creative Memories cutters and blade, Tim Holtz blending tool. This is the CM cutters I used. The egg shapes are in the centers of the hearts.

Look at this card I got at a flea market. It's so dainty and pretty! The cutout window has real lace curtains. On the inside of the card is a table with a vase of roses and a book. Gorgeous! There were so many vintage cards there, some were 3-D and cost $35.oo, WOW! Wouldn't it be nice to find some of these for cheap?!

I hope your Monday is a good one, thanks for stopping by!

love banner

Millan.netHoly cow, I finally got this post to look
right! It took me forevah to get the
pictures on without them showing up sideways!! PFFFFT! Where's that rotate button?!

Sorry, I'm supposed to be talking about Smiley from millan.net now Smiley from millan.net.

Darlene over at Splitcoast is hosting this weeks Crafty Secrets challenge. Here's what she says, " The challenge will be to "SHOW US YOUR LOVE"!! And that topic is totally open to your interpretation!! That could be your favorite CS product that you just LOVE or ... a Valentine's Day card ... a Just Because card ... you decide!" So if you can, go on over and play!

I made this LOVE banner using Crafty Secrets Cotton Scraps sewn on to the scalloped pennants. I made 4 pennants that spell out LOVE. No stamping on this project.

I cut the words out of an old childrens school book that I got at a flea market, it had big print, perfect for things like this.

I punched the flowers out of old dictionary paper and a hymnal. The button on the L flower is cloth covered and it matched the Crafty paper perfectly!

I made each pennant a different color and had fun finding all the embellishments to match.

Supplies: Paper - Crafty Secrets Radiant Paper Pad, old chlidrens book and hymnal. Acces. - Romance Cotton Scraps by Crafty Secrets, pink garland, off white and lavender lace, Stickles, ribbon, pom-pom trim, felt & crocheted flowers by SU!, Martha Stewart gems, pink heart gem sticker from Hobby Lobby, lavender droplets and buttons. Tools - SU! Bigz XL Pennant Die (I used the small one), flower punch, sewing machine.

I hope you can feel the love today, thanks for stopping by!
